I just couldn't resist taking some shots with my new D80 before I send it to LifePixel to be converted to infrared. The weather was freezing and there was about 6 inches of snow on the ground. My feet nearly went numb from the cold, but I think it was worth it.

I like the time of day you shot this. Gives the plants a perfect shadow, and can see the setting(or rising?)sun here. Great work.

Oh how I have missed this from you, Steve. Please feed me more. I know you love the infrared but you do this so very well, as well and I know your work as soon as I see it in my watch box. Can't tell you how excited I get when I see beauties like this from you. You do this perfectly, the colors create a beautiful series of emotions just as the infrareds do, too, so please tell me that you will not give up this form of your fantastic art. I swear I will cry if you do.

It was setting. Sunrises are a bit too early in the morning for me, unless I happen to be up all night and catch them that way.

interesting shot; however I wish that it was composed so that the plant in the foreground didn't block the sunset at all.
